Here’s to your good health & spirits and I hope that 2013 is unfolding nicely for you. Our New Year came in with a bang as we had a date with the big mouse in Orlando. New Year’s Eve also coincides with our son, Dillon’s birthday. We tell him people worldwide celebrate with him & fireworks marked the occasion. That seemed to go over well for our newly-minted 5yr-old.

From an Officer…..
In 2012 I went from behind the microphone – to in front of the camera – with TV productions from The Firm to Nikita – and big screen ventures like Robocop expected in theatres this year.
In the forthcoming remake of the 1987 sci-fi flick I play a police lieutenant bellowing at actor Gary Oldman. Don’t blink or you’ll miss it. The film also features Samuel L. Jackson & Michael Keaton. I do not yell at them.
…to a Gentleman. From the future to the past: I go from playing an officer in Robocop – to a ‘Gentleman’ in Murdoch Mysteries, the 1890’s mystery based in Toronto which just started its 6th season. My role is consoling a damsel in distress. Chivalry is nice. The very popular show airs in 20 countries. I’m prepping for overnight star status in Romania. (Monday, Jan 21st @ 9pm on CBC)
Do not adjust your set.
‘CRACKED‘, another CBC program, made its network debut last week. The 2nd episode airs tonight in which I play an anchorman who is more of a “talking head” than one of the characters would like to see/hear.
The show is a unique blend of police & medical drama inspired by real-life experiences of officers & mental-health professionals. Watch for me inside the TV – and inside YOUR TV – Tonight at 9pm (EST) on CBC.
Putting the VO in gOVernment.
So it’s backwards. How appropriate.
CPAC has been watching politics in action for 20 years. Happy anniversary to the Canadian media outlet that has allowed citizens to be a fly on the wall of the House of Commons & numerous news conferences for the past two decades.
I did a series of TV commercial voice overs for the channel recently. Here’s one of them.
